Channing Robinson-Holmes Named to Michigan Lawyers Weekly 2026 Class of Up & Coming Lawyers

Pitt McGehee Palmer Bonanni & Rivers is proud to announce that Partner Channing Robinson-Holmes has been selected to the Michigan Lawyers Weekly 2026 Class of Up & Coming Lawyers, an honor recognizing standout attorneys in their first decade of practice who are already shaping the future of the profession.

Channing has built a practice defined by complex, high-stakes litigation and a clear commitment to accountability. She has played a significant role in the Flint Water Crisis litigation advocating for justice for the city’s residents and has been a strong advocate for survivors of sexual assault and harassment in cases against powerful institutional defendants. She is also representing Jennifer Janetsky before the Michigan Supreme Court in Janetsky v. Saginaw County, recently achieving a ruling in the case that protects and expands workers’ rights in Michigan.

Channing, alongside firm co-founder Cary McGehee, who was recognized as part of Michigan Lawyers Weekly 2026 Hall of Fame Class, has worked steadfastly over their careers to preserve the rights of incarcerated individuals. Together, they have challenged unsafe conditions at Michigan’s Huron Valley Correctional Facility and overturned a juvenile life-without-parole sentence for a woman who had already served 30 years in prison.

Her selection as an Up & Coming Lawyer reflects both the strength of her accomplishments and her leadership in pursuing justice.

Channing will be formally recognized on March 27, 2026, at The Mint at Michigan First Conference Center.

Congratulations Channing, on this well-deserved recognition!
