Experience
Juliet Happy is an associate attorney at Pitt McGehee Palmer Bonanni & Rivers. She joined the firm after completing a judicial clerkship with the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan in Detroit. Her work focuses on civil rights work, sexual assault and harassment cases, and prisoner and employment rights.
While in law school, Juliet gained hands-on experience advocating for immigrants’ rights through two legal clinics, where she worked on appellate cases, including one before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
Her legal experience also includes serving as a research assistant at Wayne State University Law School and working as a legal assistant at Lakeshore Legal Aid, where she honed her skills in providing legal support to underserved communities. Prior to law school, Juliet worked as a paralegal at HIAS Pennsylvania, an organization dedicated to supporting low-income immigrants of all backgrounds as they build new lives.
