Former MSU Physician Arpit Saxena Charged with Sexually Assaulting Patients

Former Michigan State University resident physician Arpit Saxena has been arrested and charged with sexually assaulting two patients during medical appointments at an MSU Health Care facility. Police are now asking other patients who were treated by Saxena between July 2024 and April 2025 to come forward if they experienced inappropriate conduct. 

According to MSU Police, the investigation began after a patient reported that Saxena sexually assaulted her while examining her in April 2025. A second patient later came forward with similar allegations. Saxena now faces three counts of third degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of fourth degree criminal sexual conduct.
