Danielle Canepa, Bayan Jaber, and Channing Robinson-Holmes' Recognized in the 2026 Lawdragon 500 X – The Next Generation Guide

Pitt McGehee Palmer Bonanni & Rivers is thrilled to announce that Danielle Canepa, Bayan Jaber, and Channing Robinson-Holmes have each been recognized in the prestigious 2026 Lawdragon 500 X – The Next Generation list. This honor celebrates rising legal talent whose work is already leaving a lasting mark on the profession.

Danielle Canepa represents plaintiffs in employment and civil rights matters, with a significant focus on survivors of sexual assault and workplace harassment. Her notable work includes securing a confidential settlement in DeJanai Raska v. Detroit Pistons and Robert Murphy on behalf of a woman who faced harassment and retaliation by the team's former Senior Player Liaison, as well as contributing to a pivotal amicus brief in Stegall v. Resource Technology Group, where the Michigan Supreme Court adopted her argument that MIOSHA and OSHA do not preempt public-policy wrongful termination claims — strengthening whistleblower protections across Michigan.

Bayan Jaber has built a practice rooted in employment law, civil rights, whistleblower protection, and personal injury. Her recent highlights include playing an instrumental role in the $20 million class action settlement in Bauserman v. State of Michigan Unemployment Insurance Agency on behalf of more than 3,000 Michiganders falsely accused of unemployment fraud, contributing to a $7.5 million settlement in a groundbreaking race discrimination case challenging the Michigan State Police's vehicle pursuit policy, and helping secure fair compensation for residents of Flat Rock, Michigan following a toxic gas leak from a nearby assembly plant.

Channing Robinson-Holmes has risen steadily through the firm from Legal Clerk to Associate to Partner at the start of 2025; her career is defined by an unwavering commitment to those impacted by systemic injustice. She is a key member of the Flint Water Crisis litigation team, helping achieve the landmark $626 million settlement with the State of Michigan on behalf of residents harmed by contaminated water; secured a unanimous jury verdict for a teacher retaliated against after reporting an assault in Pennie Davis v. Jackson Public Schools, first-chaired Ellerbee v. Kuzzo's on behalf of a worker fired after testifying in a whistleblower case, and represents Jennifer Janetsky in a decade-long fight against Saginaw County that recently resulted in a significant 2025 Michigan Supreme Court ruling strengthening whistleblower protections.

This recognition by Lawdragon reflects what these three attorneys demonstrate every day: that the next generation of advocates at Pitt McGehee Palmer Bonanni & Rivers is as committed to justice as those who came before them. Congratulations to Danielle, Bayan, and Channing on this well-deserved honor.
