July 8, 2014, Royal Oak, Mich. -- Pitt McGehee Palmer & Rivers has been named to the State Bar of Michigan's 2014 Circle of Excellence at the Leadership level. This recognition is reserved for law firms whose attorneys have each contributed at least: *30 hours of pro bono service; or *$500 to a non-profit program which delivers civil legal services to low-income individuals. This year only 23 law firms in the state have been designated for providing this high level of pro bono services by the State Bar of Michigan. "These are still challenging economic times for many people in Michigan. Our firm has a long tradition of volunteering its time and resources to ensure that everyone can have access to our legal system. We're proud and honored to be recognized by the State Bar for the commitment shown by all of our attorneys," said Michael Pitt, founding partner of the firm.
