McGehee Joins Fellow MSU Law Trustees for Groundbreaking

Pitt McGehee Palmer & Rivers Partner Cary McGehee joined her fellow MSU Law trustees to participate in a groundbreaking recently to kick off construction of the Detroit College of Law Plaza. "Everyone who enters this building will Shovels in the Groundsoon be able to appreciate the rich heritage of DCL," Dean Joan W. Howarth said. Construction is expected to begin in mid-July and be completed in the fall. The prominent new main entrance will include a brief history of the law college, two Greek gods of education, a cornerstone, and a granite seal documenting MSU Law's founding as DCL in 1891. Beyond construction costs, gifts to this project will establish a permanent endowment for DCL Legacy Scholarships.
